Outline

Simmie is eager to grow a plant and wants to do so in the fastest way possible. The most highlighted advice that he finds from his research is that, after planting the seed, you must simply wait. His friend Bram reiterates this important point repeatedly along the way, aware of his impulsive nature. He does try this method, but only for a short period of time – this duration will be noted by a calendar and time-lapse. (1 – 2 weeks)

As the plant isn’t making progress at the pace that he desires, his impatience ends up getting the better of him. Simmie attempts to speed up the process by using an array of growth-enhancing products all at once, behind Bram’s back. This causes the plant to suddenly erupt from the ground, overtaking the area and turning it into a winding forest of tall, thick stems. In a panic, Simmie quickly loses his bearings and desperately tries to escape the greenery by running through it aimlessly, to no avail. He eventually becomes fatigued and slumps to the ground, in defeat, regretful of his actions.

After some time, shuffling can be heard in the distance which startles Simmie. It turns out to be Bram, squeezing through the stems where he can, to reach him. He takes his hand and leads him out of the foliage maze, into the distance. The scene fades to black.

Time skips and Simmie can be seen planting a new seed together with Bram. They water it and leave to go inside. A time-lapse is displayed with a calendar – it will be the same amount of time that Simmie originally left before causing the overgrowth. After the time-lapse, the plant will begin to blossom and there, the animation will end.
