Apart from mainstream businesses like Pixar and Dreamworks, there are many other studios that produce wide ranges of content – from TV adverts to music videos. The one I’m looking at specifically is called Seed Animation.
Seed Animation is an award-winning animation production studio who focus mainly on animation shorts with their projects. Within their works, they adopt a stylized and playful aesthetic allowing them to create truly distinctive characters and bring the story to life as they strongly believe that these aspects are powerful in engaging audiences. They create to “entertain, educate and inspire.”.
This studio utilises a range of animating techniques depending on the task at hand. This can include an illustrative style, CGI and even puppetry.
Seed Animation works with agencies, brands and charities and amongst these, some notable ones include BBC, Coca Cola, Nickelodeon and more. This studio begins their projects from a brief provided by their client and it can be as detailed or as vague as the client wants.

One of their most notable works includes the official music video that they animated for the song ‘Baby’ by Bishop Briggs.
